Default fruitflys for little toads

i have tried feeding my little toads some little crickets but a lot of the crickets are too big for the, i was thinking, since my tank is pretty big , if i baught some fruitflys and put a pice of apple, would the flys go on the fruit, and so it would be easyer for the toads to eat them, im just asking for advice on this.

It's a good idea and is the principle of a "feeding station". A better choice would be a chunk of banana (skin still on to keep it together!) we use these in amphibian exhibits.

Also, always offer what seems like a crazy amount of food, this encourages the little guys to eat and gives them a better chance of successful encounters with he food!
