Question Uromastyx

Hullo to anyone and everyone,

I have just put money down on an ocellated uromastyx, i havent got him yet as im waiting for his viv to arrive but i was just wondering what sort of thing i should have in his viv? i know not to put plants (real of fake) in there, as they eat them...) but what should i put down so they can hide in? the pet shop (south coast exotics) suggested a piece of slate cause it keeps warm over night! What sorta size should i go for on that? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, we've got a mixture of very very fine sand and wood chippings as you'll see if you check out our user gallery, a selection of bog wood and rocks to bask and climb on. And a hollow stone cave to sleep in, I think it's an exo one.
