Default Viv/Heathing Advise

Hi Everyone,
I am in the rpocess of getting a viv ready for hopefully a ranking dragon and have a question on heating.

I know they will need a uv (10%) tube across the back of the viv and a basking spot using a bulb would the below be suitable to control the heat of the basking spot bulb?
GEKO Reptile Digital Thermostat Heat Controller 10% Off on eBay (end time 03-Aug-09 21:07:49 BST)

Also at night these will both go off (for 12 hours) do I need to do anything to maintin a heat in the viv during that time and if so can i ask what is the best way to do this?

Finally thankyou to anyone for taking the rime to read this and replying if you are able to help!

Hi i wouldnt use one on a light bulb because when it hits the right temp it turns off then when the temp goes down it turns back on so the light would be flashing quite alot i would use a dimmer thermostat hope that helps!
