Default erm help maybe unsure :S

noticed my snake has a white edging to some scales. only on her back but in a few places could something be wrong or am i paranoid?

99% sure its not shed and well if it changes anything the snake isnt a good eater and had gone almost 3 weeks without food but ate today

The majority of snakes will go many months without eating and most of those will hold their weight throughout, so i wouldn't have thought that the micro-fast is anything to do with the discolouration.
Maybe post up a pic of your set up so that someone could spot any potential or current issues that may be causing this, also let us know the temperatures, and your method of controlling them.

its a young corn snake about a year old and well today(day after i noticed it) it doesnt seem worse or better so not sure and will try and get some pics and thanks so far for all this
