veiled cham vivarium
have had my veiled for several months in two and a half foot viv.have purchased a four foot vivexotic putting a mesh top on for extra ventilation but was after advice on the best form of lighting and heating for such a large viv.

do you mean a viv exotic "cham viv" or a viv exotic 4x2x2?

as well as putting mesh on the top ,id put in some mesh doors too.

as for heating, all you should need is a 100w reflector bulb above the mesh, not inside the viv.: victory:

a better description of the vivs dimensions would help,if you could post a photo of the viv in question this would be helpfull.

i would use one 10% uv tube and use lots of live plants so you can make lots of shaded areas.
yup you can use a dimming stat with a 100 w reflector bulb:2thumb:
