Default veiled cham vivarium

have had my veiled for several months in two and a half foot viv.have purchased a four foot vivexotic viv.am putting a mesh top on for extra ventilation but was after advice on the best form of lighting and heating for such a large viv.

do you mean a viv exotic "cham viv" or a viv exotic 4x2x2?

as well as putting mesh on the top ,id put in some mesh doors too.

as for heating,all you should need is a 100w reflector bulb above the mesh,not inside the viv.

a better description of the vivs dimensions would help,if you could post a photo of the viv in question this would be helpfull.

thank you.its 4 foot high by 3 foot wide by about 18 inch deep.can i use my habistat dimmer on the new set up.whats the best form of uv lighting.have been told to double up with two flourescent tubes.what would you advise.many thanks daz

i would use one 10% uv tube and use lots of live plants so you can make lots of shaded areas.
yup you can use a dimming stat with a 100 w reflector bulb

Have you bought a viv yet ? i wudnt bother if i were you just get a flexarium they are fantastisc and we use them for our three yemens

have already got the viv.but want to replace the top with mesh and get rid of the glass doors and replace them with mesh.wondered where was best to get the mesh

where are you based , i have a supplier that can get hold of viv mesh .can find you a price if you give me dimensions needed n post for cost ????
