Default When to move back to viv after feeding

Hi,

This is probably a dumb question, but wanted to check. Don't yet have my corn but wantin to make sure ive got the facts down first.

Been advised to feed outside the viv in a plastic tub/on a different surface. Which seems fair enough, but ive also been told you shouldnt handle your snake for the first few days after the weekly feed. So does the tub/other location need to be one that the snake can remain in for those few days or what?

Sarah.

my corns are only babies and are only pickup feeding overnight in their tiny rubs atm....

but all the royals and boas come out to a separate "feeding" rub. I let them wrap, strike and take the food down past the "throat" area and then gently pick up and move back to their vivs - hope this helps?

Others may have differing opinions but this works for me - try to find whatever works for you best.

Hi,

I'm new to all this too. I have only had my 2 Corns for 8 days & i fed them for the first time yesterday. As they live together i had been advised to seperate them at feeding so they don't go for the same Pinkie & one ends up getting eaten . I took one out & put in small tank & once it had eaten the Pinkie & it was well down the body i carefully picked him up & placed him back in the bigger tank.
