Default Suppliments Question for a Bearded Dragon

I understand that beardies need calcium and vitamin suppliments, but I seen calcium with vitamin D3 added does this mean that you don't vitamins or is this something totally different. Being a proper noob I just want get everything right before my little one gets here.

I am on building his/her viv I have the heat and lighting ready to go in and some decor ready aswell just need my knowledge updated.

Any help would be brilliant.

John...

nutrobal is the best. dust live food with it 1-2 times per week. it is a multi-vitamin and calcium suppliment, all in one.

Calcium is a need for them as are vits.. You can over dose them on both or you can leave it out and give them mbd...

I calcium dust crickets daily for babies/juvies and everyother day for sub adults and adults.. They have nutrobol which is a calcium and multivit 2 times a week for babies and once a week for adults.

Calcium is import to keep their bones in good order and if your going to breed it is important for eggs and the growth of the embrio (sp)

Thank you for your quick replies can you tell if this is the right calcium -200GMS LIMESTONE FLOUR CALCIUM TORTOISE REPTILES HORSE on eBay (end time 26-Sep-09 08:49:13 BST). Or is there a branded one that I should get and should I get the one with D3 or without.

Thanks Again.

yes that is one i believe others use. personally, i dont use calcium dust, just nutrobal twice weekly.

if you are going to dust with this, use it 5 days per week, and on the other 2 days, use nutrobal. limestone flour is just calcium. nutrobal is calcium and vits
