Default my bosc monitor

my monitor basks mostly all day. and then when the light goes off at night it goes in behind the water basin and scratches and hides. any reason for this as only got it 2 days ago and not too sure what could be wrong with it. i also put locusts in and they just crawled all over it and it didnt eat them i had to feed it with the tongs.

if its only been two days it could still be settling in. what are the basking temps? if they are too low the bosc wont have much energy to move around or digest food properly.

Thats what Boscs do?
