Default Trouble with beardie temperature

Hi I have just bought a new thermometer after my old one broke ages ago. I thought everything was ok in the viv (4ft) but seem it be struggling to get the hot end hot enough.
I have a 100w spot bulb, does this need to be attached to the top of the viv as at the moment it is fixed to the side pointing diagonally down as when the last one gave up that was the only fitting b and q had.
At the moment the temp is only getting to 32.7c in the hot end 36.8c in the basking spot and 26c in the cool end.
I have had my beardie for 2 years and he is fine as the local reptile shop were doing free health checks the other day. Just need to get things back to where they should be. Thanks

Is the spot bulb on a thermostat? You only really need to increase the basking spot by a few celcius, the rest of the temps sound fine.
