Default Changing water

I don't know if its just me but every post i see on american forums about water change, they seem to say "we change our water every 3 -4 days" some even claim to change it once a week. Maybe its the same here but i certainly change my water daily. Anyone else disagree with leaving water unchanged for this amount of time?

Not at all, mine is changed weekly unless its empty or is full of defecate.

These species dont need moddy coddling, they've survived millions of years without our help and have drank from swamps/rivers etc which contain poop, carcasses and its never affected them. So for me I dont change daily, many do but I never have.

I think you'll find the people with less than 4 water bowls to change always say every day.
Once you get quite a few animals it's simply not feasible to do it every day unless you have nothing better to do but most of us do, and it's not really necessary.
I change mind when it's needed. Maybe 3 days, could be 9 days.

I aim to change mine twice a week but sometimes its only once depending on if i forget or not or sometimes more often if they poop in it. I do have 8 large/deep cat litter trays to wash and scrub and a couple of big ceramic dog bowls. If i had only a few snakes then i would probably do it every 2 days.

Mine have tap water.......it would be too expensive to buy bottled seeing as i get through around 5 big buckets when i fill em back up

I do them when they need doing, maybe every 4-5 days? My beardie doesn't drink an awful lot and prefers to have a drink in the bath and the snake has a huge water bowl so it doesn't often need topping up.
