Default Preventing coccidia

Hey everyone,
I got my 1st baby bearded dragon yesterday. Everywhere I read everyone is terrified of coccidia. My baby chameleon had it, seems to be better after he had his treatment.
Anyway, is there any way to prevent it in beardies? I know that they naturally have it in their systems. So, is there anything I can do to prevent an outbreak apart from the usual stuff like cleaning and taking poo out daily?

I wasn't aware that coccidia is always present in a beardy. However, outbreaks of any parasite is usually due to the immune system being compromised and parasites taking advantage of this - otherwise the body can usually keep parasites in check.

If you're concerned, get a faecal check done. If coccidia is present then it is easily treated.

the poo was sent to the vet today.
I'm not concerned that he's got something, rather I don't want him to get anything.
