Question Tortiose pyramiding worries

I am currently worried my horsefield tortoise could be suffering from pyramiding. He is starting to go into hibernation, but his shell is still growing. I am worried about his shell shape as some areas around the front edge have become clearer and plates at the front have grown out.

I see this is in the main Shelled section where advice and help have been given by a very knowledgeable Horsfield keeper.
