Default Clueless about different boa's!

I'm a beginner and a bit confused! What is the difference between the boa morph het sharp albino for over £300 and the sharp albino boa under common boa for just over £90??

Firstly, neither are Boa constrictor constrictor which is actually the scientific name of a true red tailed boa.

These are common boas Boa constrictor imperator. That a mistake on the shops part.

The difference here is that the cheap one is 'het Sharp' which is short for 'heterozygous Sharp strain'. This means the animal looks like a perfectly normal boa constrictor but carries one copy of the Sharp Strain albino mutation.

The more expensive animal has two copies of this mutation and as such, looks very different from normal. This animal is an albino.

In boas there are several strains of albino and most are incompatible. The most common are 'Sharp' strain and 'Kahl' strain.
