Co-habiting any reptiles can go wrong at any time, but I have a trio of leopàrd geckos living together and they have been doing for a year now, one male two females. Have you considered leopards?

Ackies can be kept in groups. Will need a bigger viv though and I've no idea about handling them; don't think there's any problem with it though.

They were what inspired me in to liking reptiles, however in my opinion if I'm going to the trouble of building it myself and spending loads of money I'd may as well get a worthy lizard or something

I wouldn't want to put you off Rankins, they are gorgeous gorgeous lizards and I wouldn't be without mine , in fact I'm looking for a male, I'm just saying, keep it in mind, as someone above said, anything can go wrong with any group of lizards

Earless dragons are supposed to be sociable and live in groups - I don't know - I've never kept them. But they are also supposed to be very skittish and not like handling at all.

I guess I'm being really uncertain, and to be honest I barely know myself. But not being able to held often is ok, I guess thatll add to the fun
