Im just going by my own 2 boys who are extremely active during the day aswel as night, i like to give them enough room to carry out their adventures and if i had a female royal the same (which im sure they all are at night) she would be in larger then a 3 foot as i wouldnt like to think of her exploring and doing laps when she comes alive at night but not having much room to do it (which is why i wont keeo royals in rubs)

you wouldnt use a heat mat in a royal viv, i use a ceramic heat emitter with a guard on on a pulse thermostat. Large water bowl for humidity and for submerging in (i use cat litter trays) a fair bit more cover then a corn would bother about as royals can get easily stressed if theres not enough cover to dive into should they feel scared (some can be quite nervy) so get alot of plants/cover and hiding places in there. hot end around 32/33c
werewolf likes this.
