Default ackie monitor help

Hi, I'm new to the forum which was recommended by a friend and was wondering if I could ask for some help. My boyfriend and I have an ackie monitor called dashy and he has been less active in his vivarium recently when usually he is running around and has high activity levels. He stays on a top platform for hours at a time on the hot side. I've put fresh live food which he is just ignoring when usually he is an eager feeder. Any advice that could explain the change in behaviour would be gladly received. Thanks for reading.

Default Ackies

Ackie monitors are a group monitor and we have found if one is kept on its own there can be problems.

PS. we have kept (in groups 5) and bred Ackies over the last 6 years.
