Royal Shed Not Eaten 2 Weeks

Hey Guys,
I'v had my ball since the 28/02/13 and she fed on the 04/03/13 then I noticed when i went to feed her eyes were a little cloudy and was coming into shed but i tried feeding her anyway to see if she would and she wouldn't feed so i left her till yesterday and i found my nice first shed in her hide tried to feed her again and she has refused again last night...I'v read that they can also go off feeding just after a shed... Just wondering if this is common? And just to put my mind at rest being new to owning Royals it's a little alien to me... Maybe I'm just being over paranoid.

Totally normal behaviour for royals at this time of year, dont worry about it just yet, mine just came out of hunger strike just keep an eye to make sure she doesnt lose weight and that she behaves normally.
Im sure someone else can tell you more, but she will feed again when she is ready.

Cheers for putting my mind at rest mate she was in her hide alot untill sat night (when she shed) and has came out a few times at night... She's actually out now haha.

I have a royal whos eaten 3/4 times in 6 months now - hes bright and alert and hasn't lost any weight so tbh I'm not worried

I bought mine 2 weeks ago although it is a male.

I tried to feed on the saturday after the purchase day wednesday and he refused so i planned to leave it till this week but like yours it had cloudy eyes and mine had been moved to a new enviroment so again i put it down to that and yes i was getting bothered as not had a snake that refused food before.

Wednesday last week he shed and left him a couple of days and fed him so all is good now.

This was just to let you know my story on my new royal. But there will be others that will give you some really good advice on here.

No problem, just keep an eye on her, some can go a couple of months or more its how they are as they are looking to breed and its winter time, if it goes too long speak to whom you got her from for some advice.
But like I said my boy was doing it and absolutely smashed his rat down on friday and made me jump, So dont worry about it, its Perfectly normal behaviour

Lesson learned I did my poor 'Mouse puppetry' for a while was about to give up then BAM! She know's how to make me jump... Cheers again guys.
