Hogs are a dwarf species but they are a large dwarf and if yours is female then she may grow anything between 6-7 foot is common
Chance likes this.

Thanks for all the comments

Is it normal to see them breathe? Her body is raising up and down, but I only ask I cause she's maybe struggling and breathing harder than "normal"? New to Boas but I love her so far and totally agree on the markings and I would also love a female

Boas are THE best snake in my opinion I would say that though lol.
Is she making any noises when she breathes like popping/clicking and is she opening and closing her mouth alot with stringy clear liquid inside? If not....then she will be fine and you are just seeing her breathe

In my experience boas are one of the loudest breathing snakes I've seen. I was constantly worried about my big girl since you can hear her breathe from across the room when she's being handled but after a few vet appointments I began to adjust to the sound, it's all to do with their windpipe apparently.

However as said before, keep an eye for any liquid or clicking noises too.

I agree......the bigger they get....the louder they get! Also you can see them breathe more when they're large, huge deep breaths.
