You could still build a rack and then make doors for it?
Would that not be the same as im doing now? There has to b a way surely.

Kind of but with the racks you are heating each individual tub separately with either a mat or a heat cable. In the viv as it is so enclosed I'd be worried about humidity etc with say 4 mats on at once.

Hmmm still no closer to a better idea to be honest!

If I put a shelf in there to divide it and drill loads of holes around it then it should keep the temp manageable with mats or cables and the humidity ok.

Do you not have a cupboard (under the stairs, in a bedroom etc) you could keep them in and put a lock on the door or ideally a spare room ?

Not really no. Think im gonna turn the viv on its side and shelve it and have individual spaces for each rub and put wire mesh on the back instead of the original wooden back.
