Default feeding cresties banana

I've finally got my Crestie. I am feeding him/her Repashy and I was going to mash banana in it but somebody told me banana is bad for Cresties, what do you guys think? Is there any other fruit I could add to the Repashy?

Repashy is a complete diet without the need for anything else to be added.

Thanks, I know you can feed Repashy without anything being added but I thought you could add mashed fruit to it.

I understand that some people as an occasional treat mash mango and pear to offer their cresties but I'm unsure of banana so wouldn't like to comment there.

Repashy does contain everything they need however

Just try the repashy on its own,if there not that keen then try mixing it with some fig/pear/strawberry/kiwi/mango.Dont use banana as the potassium stops them from absorbing the calcium.Dont use any citrus friuts either.I just use these as a treat once a month and mainly use live food.

Thanks for the help, guys. At the moment my Crestie doesn't seem keen on Repashy at all. Any ideas on how to get him to eat it. Somebody suggested putting a bit on his nose, so he would have to lick it off

I have recently bought a male who totally refuses repashy and will eat only baby food and crickets. I have been giving him crickets and Ella's kitchen pure pear baby food to date until he's settled in. My next move however is to mix a tiny bit of repashy into his pear and just increase it gradually with the intention of him hopefully getting weaned onto repashy without realising. That is my plan which I hope will work, if not I too will be asking for help

My baby crestie went crazy for his repashy when I mixed some mashed up fig into it. He didn't seem to be eating much before so I tried fig to try and tempt him to eat a bit more.

Thanks, guys, my little crestie still doesn't seem to like Repashy, unless I put some on his nose, then he licks it off!!! Couldn't find any pear baby food in our local supermarket but I did get some apple and pear, I'll try that tonight. I'm getting some crickets delivered on Monday, hopefully he'll like them.

Hi soniadpw, how's it going, is he getting used to the Repashy? What kind of crickets are you feeding him, brown or black?
