Thank you for posting a reply. The heat bulb is also a uv bulb. But I think I'll get him a deeper table, any recommendations on what to use?

A deep sided bookcase on its back? Or make your own. Horsfields like to tunnel and dig so nice deep soil for him/them - my depth is about 9" indoors

Basking and UVB bulbs are completely fine for tortoises but i would rather have a basking heat lamp alone, and a Zoo med reptisun UVB tube, just for more heat and UVB, but you're doing absolutely fine and it's just my opinion

Hi guys! this thread is amazing, and can i say, your tort tables / vivs are works of art!

Im not new to tortoising, but i am new to this site, here is my torts new table, can i have some advise on how to spruce it up?
I have a tort Dylan, she is a hermann, also a tort hermann called George.

I noticed a few weeks ago that dylan had weepy eyes. this is not cause she has RNSi took her to the vets and she was allergic to her bedding, she was on hemp. And we had no problems with hemp previously. I got them both checked out and dyl had an eye infection due to her alergies. The vet said this is natural for torts to have allergies just as we do, and she is half way through her eye drops and coming on leaps and bounds!

So i hear this soil sand milarky, and would just love to hear your views on their table?
thankyou
