Default yellow bellied slider help

this is not mine its a friend.shes told me jus recently shes not eating and her eyes have just swelled up and when swimming its as if she like blind and cant see where shes goin.help pls

A vet would be a good idea.

Do you know about the basking lights as sometimes these can cause problems with the eyes?

It can also be a vitamin defeciency.

Also what sort of filter is used? It could be an infection/abscess.

Third question, whereabouts is your friend as we may be able to recommend a vet who knows about turtles?

she has no baskin light.only uv light aswell told her to get one tho

Yes I agree a trip to the vet would probably be best. Whats the diet like?

she sed she feed it on the standard food with shrimps and the sticks, i also give them bloodworm, which she used to eat, and I've even tried melon and strawberries cos this website said
