OK I'm nt familiar with shops in your area, maybe someone else could help there. But if you buy online I would suggest Surrey Pet Supplies for good prices and quick service, the Arcadia MVBs are what many of us use and recommend these days, a good quality bulb with a good long 12 month warranty, and at a reasonable price.

There are various ways to mount it, from a hanging dome style fixture to one that clamps on to the edge of the tank or some other suitable mounting point, the bulb needs to be around 15" above the basking area so that may dictate exactly how and where you mount it.

Only shops I know around here are reggae reptiles in neath, there's also soars ark they have a reptile section and possibly the place in Swansea world of water I think, but these will more than likely be very expensive, I tend to get all my equipment from surrey pets.

I don't think you will get the desired temps from the 80w, look at 100/160w.

The 80W might be OK, you're only heating a small basking area after all, I've not used that one myself though so maybe ask Arcadiajohn on here for his advice, if not then the 100W version would be OK.

You need a dome style housing for it with a ceramic socket, the bulbs get hot so it must be ceramic and not plastic, you should find a selection of suitable ones on the same site, you just need to decide whether to use a hanging or clamp type and that will depend on where you intend to mount it.
