Default is my yellow bellid slider ill

hi im new to owning a turtle he is a baby 1 inch long his set up an 21 gallon tank for now as he is only small. The water temp set to 28 c and has an 5 uvb bulb in his basking area and eats well . but he has started swimming all over the place and swimming upsidown and spinng round im very worried can some 1 get back to me asap

ps. i only got him yesterday

Could you describe your set up a bit more please, adding pictures would also help. Your water is a tad warm, I would lower this to 26°c.

Is he swimming lop sided .. one side of the shell higher than the other? difficulty submerging or surfacing?

Sliders can be rather energetic when begging for food. does he swim all over the place in response to you being close by or food etc?

My slider often darts around swimming backwards

He is around 5-7 months old and fit as a fiddle. Aslong as he is eating well and basking he should be fine.

But pictures would be good
