Yeah in the future I'm hoping to pair her with my spider male to produce lesserbees, and I'm going to be getting a lesser male at some point to to breed her with and hopefully get some nice blue eyed lucistics Oh and I'll probably get a pinstripe too and make lesser pinstripes And hopefully a genetic stripe too! The list goes on! :p

My week 2 is a snake in shed as suggested by our leader.

This week i bought a light tent with some lights and a tripod, did a lot more reading, and took about 500 pictures, of which i like about 25, things that im reading and doing are starting to make sense slowly, but the downside is i have at least £1000 of kit on my wishlist already.

I took a lot of shots in the tent messing with various settings, out of hundreds of shots i got maybe 10 good ones, so for the next few weeks im going to work on improving that.

He has a little bit of fluff on his mouth from the tent in the shots, i didnt notice till i put him away and i didnt want to bother him again but i wanted to post a snake in shed so here he is.

that's cool, my normal BCI shed this week and is now absolutely glowing grey ... but I shot some studio shots of my albino BCI, close up of her head/eye - so one of those will be my shot for the week (must edit!)

Light tent sounds like a lot of fun. I made a homemade one years ago (a book shelf which I stuck A4 white paper to (back/sides/bottom/top, so 5x sides like a tent) and I used off camera bounced flashes within my shelf/tent. Worked very well for shadowless light of small things, but only good for macro/small things. I now have 4x studio lights (off eBay in 200 and a massive 2m x 1.8m softbox/backgroundbox. This did my albino boa shoot a treat - must edit!!
