Talking 1.2 more hognoses

yey!

I now have 4.4 Hognose ... I know, I know, breeders are supposed to work to 1:3 or 1:4 odds, but I want pairs! (I have another pair to collect in a few weeks).

I picked these three normals up today, they hatched on 01-Jan-12! I guess they are still CB11s? Is that right? Since they were bred in 2011, or are they CB12s because they hatched in 2012?

For scale that is a 0.7L rub that I use for weighing, they came in at 9-11g (I think two of my others were 7g when I got them).

No idea what anyone else was doing out for a drive on Sunday, but my 4 hour round trip was well worth it!

1.0 - Henry

(don't worry, his tail is completely normal, he just made it look funny in the photo)

0.1 - Henrietta

0.1 - Harriet

The good thing about planning to breed hognoses is that the affordable morphs (albino) are recessive, so I have to have normals - yey!

Handled the mother and father when I picked them up from the breeder, the female was completely normal looking and the male had a slight red tinge which has worked through to these (not 'reds' but a little redder than some normals)

also picked up another male which I'm passing on to someone else who was after one, so, this one has no name (think its a boy, might be a girl):

I promise, the next pair are my last ... although I will keep a visual and a het or everything I breed (if it works!)
