Default My snake pictures.

Just a thread to dump photos we take of our snakes in the future as i discovered the other day, in 8-9 years there are perhaps 3 photos of my milk snake still in existence.

This is sad because he may not have long left. He was 1-2 when i got him and while 10-15 is quite common, you never do know.

What i hope to achieve in particular, is have a visual recollection of my snakes bought this year and how they grow and change.

Most are taken by my girlfriend, she is quite handy with a camera but unfortunately, these are phone quality. further destroyed by facebook quality pictures. Hopefully better to come!

Search this thread for PICS followed by a number (up by 1 each time, first post will be PICS1) to find the next pictures incase this grows too huge to search through.

Yeah, stung for an hour of two but not much in terms of damage, like a million little pin prick holes from her being a mardy cow and chewing at me.

She struck at the food but not a feeding response, more of it "it's you again, f off". Only even tried her as it was feeding day for 2 of the others. Still not bothering her too much until shes found her feet. Will try her again in 5 days to a week ish.

Spends most of her time hidden but took time out of her day to strike at the faun while i fed the hognose. Might knock some sense into her, who knows.

PICS2

The hognose, Cassiopeia, affectionately known as "the worm" by everyone else, has utterly shot up in the last few weeks.

Zyra, resident c word blood python has started to settle in and was seen out and about when i went to do my water changing rounds, couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures. Good for her as she hid for the first two days. Maybe settling a little more.

I figured i would write a little bit with each set of pictures for anyone interested. Maybe someone can learn how not to do things by watching as i progress!

PICS3

The Royal is chilling like a villain always. The blood is an actual villain always but i have been hands off for a while now and she is starting to get used to me being around.

The only note worthy thing here is, my girlfriend again stole a snake from me before i even named it. So the Boa is hers. I hope it grows 40 feet and eats her. Thieving moo. At least she is still scared of the Blood Python.

Camera phone pictures all around. This makes me sad.

She is a mardy cow but starting to settle in, i have been hands off for a week and a half now (the first bite yet to finish healing!). Once she is feeding well and i start buggering about, i will see if she is still a handful!

She really is an attractive snake, at first i hated that she hates me but now i am glad as my royal python and common boa were both stole by my girlfriend inside of 10 seconds of owning them. At least with the girlfriend terrified i get my little gorgeous snappy baby. And even if she calms down, i will still tell Tasha that she is a hand chomping death machine.

aww bless her! I think ive been blessed with mine, only one is abit hissy but thats it! the other 3 are puppy tame.
Im sure with regular handling she will calm down loads though, they are such amazing, under-rated snakes
