Not worth it mate, costs a fortune, they never pay out- it's a rip off, pretty much like most insurance.

Stick £5/£10 a week in a jar as a emergancy vet fund, will work out a lot cheaper.
Rogue665, Artisan and Misguidance like this.

Vets charge what they want there's no real set fee. As for treatment depends what wrong with said reptile, how much which type of treatment.

I brought a royal that had a RI to treat her I paid £150 minimum think it was a Lot more actually not forgetting the time off work.

Let's say to walk into your vet £35 then whatever else is needed onto of that, it's had to say how much you will need, as there are too many variables

how big is the snake, what snake is it, what's wrong with it? so many variables im afraid and there's no set fee. there will be an initial consultation fee which is normally about £35 as someone else has already mentioned and from there they can charge what they see fit. i once had to take a corn to the vet and the vet gave me a free syringe and showed me how to administer fluid every day down my snakes throat. didn't charge me nothing but the initial fee which was good of them.
