Edd93 asked me to let you know that he is having trouble posting as a newbie as the posts are being moderated, hence delay

he is picking up a habistat stat tomorrow

make sure he gets a digital thermometer too or he wont be able to calibrate it accuratley. also the ambient temp this time of year changes alot so it would be wise to keep an eye on it as it gets colder that the stat gets tweaked unless ur pushing into burmation for breeding purposes

I mentioned the thermometer in a PM but the only one I've used is the laser gun type, so I'm not sure what else is good

the settings on them are close but ul need a digital thermometer there cheap as F u can use the fridge ones or any thermometer for now to tweak the calibration for the ambient air but any therm will do for now even a glass one just dont leave it on the matt lol

I know. I've got a thermometer, but I'm not sure how accurate is. I've ordered one of those digital laser ones on amazon

I like the laser ones as you can use them for everything round the house, and for multiple vivs - plus you can check in various places in the viv easily ...

A lot of people have recommended them. Seemed like the best choice.

Everything is all set up properly now and he's doing fine.
