I like to use a mix of substrate for a lot of my snakes. Looks nicer for me and varies it a little for them.

I'll be buying some of that stuff

As adult the only need over 50-60 % ?

I thought as young ones they need the higher amount ,?

It is a juvenile, only a few months old. I keep the humidity around the high eighties, I believe this is adequate and he shed out a few days ago. The shed was complete, no stuck shed and in one piece so that would suggest its about right.

I have read conflicting care sheets with regards to adults but I will likely reduce it a little as he grows. They still live in the same locations as juveniles in the wild so will keep it higher than 50-60%.

I have found personally that a good substrate looks after the humidity to a certain extent.

Babies require 90-100% humidity.....adults 50-60% which can be achieved with a moss box and daily spraying.

When mine was a baby he had a thick layer of eco earth in a RUB and he thrived.

I look forward to it ! I've uploaded all the photos I have of her to my photobucket, so I'll add more later on. I don't plan on spamming the thread with photos of her so don't worry haha.
