I have a normal corn, he is 5.1ft long. My first and currently only snake until I get a royal python.

He is so docile and loves climbing on and around peoples head and neck

I have two bags of aspen but worried about him becoming impacted through ingestion of the stuff.

Won't happen. Feed him outside the viv, or from tongs above the level of the substrate if you're worried- but loads of keepers use it without trouble. Or get some eco earth & let it dry out- that will pass through if ingested. Don't forget, they must surely ingest substrate when feeding in the wild without impaction. & more & more keepers are using loose substrates now without any trouble- bio-active vivs for example.

Thats me, I have kept them all (apart from gophers/bull/pine) and just don't like them. Too squirmy for me, got a fair few hoggies now though

A bit harsh to say so on a thread dedicated to them.

I have 2, an amel stripe and a sunkissed. Great little snakes, even if the sunkissed seems to be trying to kill me...

After a hard days exploring and hunting Marmaduke likes nothing than to grad a takeway on his way home.
