My female boa shed sometime last week and 3 days ago noticed she has some stuck in and around her vent, I don't want to pull it incase I hurt her, most of her shed was complete besides this tiny area. I've misted her rub until its wet through and today, its still not come off.
I doubt she'll soak in a bowl of water as she's always moving and won't sit still long enough.
Get yourself a suitable sized rub with a vented lid. Fill with lukewarm water leaving enough space at the top for snakey to breath. Pop the snake in, put lid on and allow to soak for an hour.
Remove from rub and gently remove stuck skin, possibly using tweezers to assist.
