Hi there im trying to find a 300w ceramic heat emitter, but cant seem to find any for sale anywhere! Ive always used them and had komodo ones.
Now im stuck with a 250w bulb thats not heating my tank enough.
Does anyone know where still does 300w bulbs
cheers.
Ive had a similar problem and resorted to running 2 x 250w ceramics controlled by a dimming stat.
The advantage with this is that the ceramics are never running at full whack and therefor last longer. You also get less heat wear and tear on the fittings.
Disadvantage obviously is that more space taken up by the heaters.
Yes thats the only other idea ive been looking at doing aswell. Im using a 600w pulse proportional habistat atm so itll work fine with two 250w bulbs. My viv is a fair size ao should look okay.
Or use a couple of 200w ceramic trough heaters which are a lower profile.
