So on Friday I homed a 3.5ft male hypo boa and his 4ft enclosure that came with him. I paid only for the viv and the petrol (I don't drive) so I feel super happy about this whole thing. He's apparently 18 months old and I know for a fact, he's super duper friendly.
Is there anything you can tell me further about him from his photos? He's my first boa (I have 2 Royals) Thank you.
His previous owner told me he was due feed on Saturday evening (I got his Friday afternoon) so I thought "why not try? Worst he can do is refuse it".
I'm sorry but I SHAT myself. BAM. I was stood there like :gasp::gasp::gasp:
The feeding response is amazing and I found it amazing too how much stronger (I feel they are anyways) their bodies are compared to Royals. I only moved him from his travel RUB into the viv when I had it sorted and I was like "bloody hell...".
Super excited though as I have a Crawl Cay coming home to me the end of March Boas are really stealing the lime light for me (I do adore my 2 royals though, big wussy pants).
I'm no boa expert as I have only kept a few dwarf species.
But that pattern looks lovely and not normal??
Like I said I'm no expert but the saddles look more spaced and wide apart, maybe the hypo does that?
It could be nothing and I have made myself look a right prat...
(Someone please rescue me)
