Please help. My Hognose has squeezed himself through the hole in the top of a half coconut hide and is stuck about 1.5 inches from his head. I have put lots of Olive oil to try and ease his through but it is not looking good. I have tried powerful cutting pliers to break the coconut apart but it won't budge. I feel like I am watching him die.....! What the hell do I do.
I briefly tried to pull him back but his scales meant it did not feel like it was goign to work.
He is just free, used mull grips to break the coconut apart. I think his scales may be a little damaged and I saw a bit of redness when he was trying to squeeze through so I will see how he is in the morning and maybe take him to the vets. I realise he did this a couple of weeks ago as his house was all turned over and bedding everywhere with his coconut hide upside down.He obviously only just escaped then but is even bigger now so could not get through. Pretty stressful!!
