Default Corn snake in the same room as two guinea pigs - need advice

My friend has a corn snake that she cannot keep anymore and I offered to take him in but my current living situation makes the only place he could stay the same room as my 2 guinea pigs. I've never had a snake in the same room as them but it's the only option right now would this cause problems ? obviously they wouldn't be out at the same time but would their smell set him off when i take him out of his enclosure? Ii don't think he would actually attack them being that they're way too big but still

My snakes were in the same room as our hamster. My corn had the odd sniff in that direction when he was out, but that was it. He was too busy exploring. He is more interested in the smell of my female Royal.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you stay diligent with keeping them apart and washing your hands before handling all your critters!
