![]() I have a female royal that is problamatic shedder. . But i found a solution. Yes its humidity but once i notice her going into shed. I pop a damp flannel ontop of her hive change it when its dry until she sheds and since then i havent had a problem .. and i agree with one of the replies. Check for mites because my three royals never get into the water bowl and only when i had a new snake he did that and it was mites...

![]() Many thanks. I wonder if the little grey bits in the water were broken skin. I can't see any raised areas of skin on her but I'll bathe and rub her tonight and see what happens. Her temp is fine but I'll lower it in case she's just more sensitive to heat than others. They're all different!
