I've got a hybrid as well , an amazing Cali King x Pueblan Milk snake ~ Imperial Pueblan... I won't add pictures as it may detract from the thread ..

So long as they don't breed from it and screw up the gene pool as per previous discussions on hybrids then its fine. Granted it as nice looking snake.

It's funny, I think you can immediately tell from the body language of that snake that it is part Sumatran Short Tail. Something about those movements and reactions that sign posts it.

whats unique about this hybrid is that it was from a clutch that included 100% pure sumatrans, they all shared the same mother but the coralglow male only fathered one egg, the sumatran male fathered almost the entire clutch.

so this hybrids brothers and sisters (50%) are pure sumatrans, which is kinda cool.

i believe (i think its mentioned in the video) that this hybrid male is destined initially to be paired with a pure sumatran in the future.

whats unknown about the hybrid is how the coralglow flecks will come in, how the increased darkening of the sumatran will come in, its going to be a very interesting adult i think.

first of all, prepare urself, it involves one of ur favourites (sumatrans) being "tinkered" with.

a male coralglow x female sumatran, with a backup male sumatran also being used.

a nice healthy clutch is produced of almost all pure sumatrans but a sneaky coralglow sperm wiggled its way into an ova and one coralglow ball x sumatran was hatched.

a dual sired hybrid pure clutch
