Ours has just done a 5 week no food period but is still so very gently at taking food, yeah he's eating like a trooper but no eating aggression.

The day we got ours I didnt even know a thing about them , as I went for a royal, but hand on heart I cant recommend these enough. Yeah they bury themselves for most of the time but they must rank as one of the best snakes you can own due to the temperament and size.

Ours is about10/11 months old now and even tho hes had a small mouse it was just the once n now gone back to pinkies, we started again from scrath hoping to build the size of food up but anything other than pinkie and he will leave it alone, give him pinkies and he will eat 4 at one sitting

With Cresties it’s no worry as all are dopey and she can get them out herself and Handle, even the babies! Is a hognose a good snake for handling especially with my girl? If not what snake would be? My other half used to have a few royals before moving and she would handle them perfectly!

My lass is absolutely chicken oriental with food. She smells it and her mouth is open and random things get bit.
