Default Help with bio active set up

I want to set up a bio active set up for my milk snake but have read bio active set ups can have increased humidity. Does anyone have tips for keeping humidity down? Also my snake like to burrow so would the bioactive set up be bad?

No need at all for a bio set up to have increased humidity. Pick the right substrate mix, drainage layer etc and adapt ventilation as required.

I went on bio dude and they have kits for snakes. But I only saw ball python, corn, and hog nose snake set ups. Should I get the hog nose mix since it’s low humidity

Completely agree.

I have a cornsnake, hognose, kingsnake all on bioactive and the humidity stays low because I have the correct substrate, good drainage layer and good ventilation. I advise to avoid plants with a burrowing snake, they will just end up ruined.

You need to research the best substrate mixes which offer low humidity, if you're after pre mixed substrates then aim for something similar to cornsnake bioactive substrate.
