Question snake behaviour when shedding?

Hey Guys... Just another quick question from a novice!!

Does a snakes Behaviour change when its shedding ie.
  • Will it hide out the way when it shows the first signs (eyes blued over)?
  • Become More Aggressive?
Just asking because my rat snake has had the blued over eyes now for about 3/4 days and is just hiding away all the time

Is this normal?? or could it be because hes in new surroundings.. ony had him 3 days!

cheers

NK

Depends on the snake itself. My Albino Cali is unhandlable when in shed, whereas my MBK and Bairds Rat are as mellow as ever when in shed. As the following picture shows but it is normal to hide whenever it is in blue.

none of mine become aggresive, but they do hide away until ready to slough.

When snakes go into shed their eyes cloud over when they go blue, so their vision is restricted. So naturally they are more defensive and nervous at this time, and will more than likely hide until their eyes clear
