hi just wanted to ask when buying a hypo boa are most from the salmon line or is the word just thrown around the hypos to make them special, as i know there is a hypo line called salmon boas however i see everyone referring there hypos as salmons. is this right or just a word thrown around? sorry for any confusing questions:lol2:
As i understand it there are two lines of hypo G line and salmon but salmon are more common so really hypo and salmon are the same thing i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong
there are 2 main lines of hypos at the min these are
salmon boas (rich ihle)
gee line or orange tail (jeff gee)
both lines are said to be from the same boa which originated in panama dont know if this is true or not but rich ihle bred into columbian boa blood and his boas produced a nice salmon colour and then were selective bred for the colour reds ect and jeff gee kept his pure and bred back into dwarf blood lines
