Default snakes and kids lol

my youngest son (aged 9) has just braved holding a royal solo. hes so proud of himself that he ran downstairs afterwards to tell his dad. as a few of you probably know my hubby is scared of snakes(ill rephrase that,he dont like them ) much to my sons disgust his dad teased him about going it alone . much to my amusement (i really couldnt tell him off) my son has just informed my hubby that the real reason he dont like snakes is cos hes a chicken s**t. i cant help but think hes right hes also just fed a snake(boa) a rat for first time and is grinning like a cheshire cat. hopefully theres a new snake fan in the making

I wanna be much more like you
Your effortlessly graceful scene
That drips from every pore of you
Where logic cannot intervene
I wanna take a bath with you
And wash the chaos from my skin
I wanna fall in love with you
So how do we begin ?

I remember when i caught my first wild snake...south of france in a hay field at 3 years old with my older brother, a massive ladder snake which turn around and bit the crap....i thought it was awesome.

I get no better feeling that showing other kids my animals. Its something too do with the nosies they make and the big snake that gets out on there face that you can show them your passion and they get excitement from it.

I am all for giving kids chances like this, the more you trust a child with responsiablity the more chance they have of turning out half decent

i'd love to post some kiddie pics lol holding snakes but the only snakes i have are damn evil and plus my daughter is only 4months old so she would be more of a threat to the snakes than the other way round after she turns them into teethers lol and gives em a good squuueze.
