Default Tap Training?

Hi all, heard somebody talking about 'tap training' recently, what exactly is that?
Thanks,
Ben

You enrol them for dance lessons lol.............
no, I believe what is involved is lightly tapping the snake with a impliment of some kind when you are going to pick it up so it gets used to this meaning ' this is not food arriving'.. I think

exactly right.

the snake, over time learns that being touched by the snake hook means it's going to get some intereraction with you but not food.

Our retic is tap/hook trained, you can actually see the change in her behviour, touch her with the hook and it's like you just switched her off. Try and change her water without tapping her and you could easily loose fingers.
