Default Venom Info for Viv - FWC

Im looking at getting one of these. Im now getting the 'gulp' due to their venom. I understand the potantcy of it however i would like something to stick onto the viv so my flatmate is aware just in case.

Ive talked through him what to do who to call, the viv will be marked up with its latin name etc. Is there an official body that provide toxin info for snakes?

Ive looked around and just find homw made info and stuff. I was thinking about emailing Liverpool University Vet Centre.

Also stuck this in DWA section

I have heard bites can be pretty bad but not life threatening. I would say you could make a sign in word or powerpoint. Make the page background a bright colour add huge read-able writing saying 'CAUTION SNAKE WITH POTENT VENOM'' or something like that and stick it to the glass.

If you are worried about your flatmate being bitten then why not just lock the vivarium and keep the keys??
Big bold signs with bright backgrounds and the relavent information are a good thing to have aswell.

Yeah think i may have too. It was more information a medical proffessional would need to know e.g toxins name, chemical make-up, effects etc

He wont be touching dont worry, he never goes near them. Its just if i do take a bite i want him to be able to explain to someone what the snake is etc just in case. Basically im treating it like a true DWA

i think you should put something like " CAUTION HIGHLY VENOMOUS" and then leave the viv door open a jar.
might be worth a giggle???
