I would be there.. although i dont think east london is the best place to leave your car .. only playing, the hard part is going to be finding a place in london which will let you hold a reptile night.

lots of the ones up north seem to be in pub function rooms. surely there are pubs in london who would be fine to rent out a function room, and then people could chip in a few quid to go to the meetings and that would cover the costs of renting the room?

just a suggestion, but id be up for a london based meetup

Yeah used to work in central an live in north london, an i kno there are a few pubs in north london like kentish town area that have 'meeting'/function rooms theres loads of places this end of london as wel

fitness/sport clubs an hotels galore, but think they charge an dont think many if any pubs would

so could do it this end as alot of people know how to get to kempton,
but where ever it is will have to have means of public trasport near by

a lot of pubs in central will let you book a section for a guarenteed spend of X amount in the bar, the amount varies from place to place, however, actually bringing reptiles with you to central is probably not a good idea generally since I dont know how welcoming places would be to the idea. I am happy to make enquires however ^_^

Another option is not to officially *book* an area, but reserve some space in one (since we probably wont end up needing a complete room) and thats usually free since people can use the area until we need the space.

So who wants to see if I can find somewhere to bring reps along? I might, but id be just as happy to meet people and talk about there collections etc.

I will get in touch with a few places in central London to see if anywhere will be accomedating. (we would probably have more luck if we requested space on a slow night ie a Monday or Tuesday night).

I live in Morden but am happy to travel pretty much anywhere in London to meet fellow reptile lovers! Might be worth asking pubs like the the Intrepid Fox (Tottenham Court Road) if we decide to meet on a "school night" as they have a room upstairs which is not used on some evenings which we might be able to use. Whatever you decide....let me know!
