Smile strike feeding

was just feeding ma snake and as it struck at the pinky i craped maself lol never seen a snake strike feed before lo land it ate the pinky da wrong way roundshes now gone into feeding frenzy mode hunting for more greedy cow

I jump with one of my big female royals because she will 's' up then go to slither off and sort of flip over herself and launch at the rat, her aim is sometimes off because of the weird angle so then she just strikes normally, after usually just missin me or the tongs.

i always sh*te myself when it comes to feeding my royal she makes me jump so bad! More often than not I let her see the mouse, I drop it, close the tank and then run away quickly ....what a wuss

i jump wi the boa. and unfortunately she HAS to strike. if i just put the food in viv she lies gazing into its eyes till she is allowed to strike.

my big female royal is a bugger for striking at the best of times but if its feeding day and im not careful she remind me whos got more teeth

I agree Im not scared of the snake shes so tame when its not feeding time but its the way she sticks her head out of her hide and looks at the mouse

its good to know im not the only one that jumped am glad mines fed thoe am quite happy actually coz she fed whilst in shed and theirs a thread saying alot of peoples kings have gone of food so am glad mine ok i would be crap maself if i had to strike feed a big burm or retic id make a set of custom tongs that are like 3 ft long
