You are looking at mice fluffs, not rats, right?

This is what I get from my shop, pinky and fluffy mouse (for the cali king, also a rather wee lad) can see if they have something in between, but thats what I get if I just ask without specifying large or small.

I have this problem a lot, people calling mice stages different things.

I have a snake that was in a similar position though, he is a yearling and ate very little between being born in the summer 2010 and winter, and then went on a very long fast, I was reluctant to cool him over winter because he had such little weight, but in the end I decided that was the only way to get him feeding again.

When I warmed him back up he was tiny, 20 g! But after feeding him twice with just one pinky, I started giving him two pinkies, maybe for two or three feeding sessions, then started giving him small rat pups, then one larger rat pup now he is on two large rat pups, and will soon be going onto small mice.

Rat pups might be a good place to start, and the temperatures sound fine, I keep all my hogs somewhere between 30 and 32
