Exclamation Hog nose still not eating!!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you know I have got a baby hog nose which I bought at Doncaster show on the 26th of last month. Basically it has not eaten since then. I have tried the following methods.
I down sized the rub to 3ltr
I split them up as i ''HAD'' 2 hog noses
I've scented its pinkys with tuna
I've tried boiled egg white
I've left the pinky in a toilet roll tube over night in the rub
I've also tried un-scented pinkys
Ands STILL, I'm getting no more. As a few of you know, I've lost one of my hog noses and would hate to think that this one would die on me. As you can Imagine I'm quite peeved off.

ANY MORE METHODS I COULD TRY????

a month is nothing- they can take longer than that! try a smellier fish to scent with- i used lancefish for my hatchlings (bred them myself). but it still may take a while. also, have you tried braining the pinks?

In 4 weeks, you seemed to have tried a lot of methods, almost too many. With any new snake, especially hatchlings, you should leabe them alone and undisturbed for a week before offering food. How are you measuring the temperature? And have you spoken to the person you got it from? Was it feeding before you bought it, if so on what, and how many feeds?

I have a digital thermometer the temp is usually between 29 and 31of
I bought it from Doncaster show. I bought it off one of the middle tables if you went of a bald headed fella, the where right next to the bloke from Germany who was also selling hog noses. I never asked him any questions, which was very stupid of me. lesson learned though. Also a member of here bought one of him and his is feeding fine

A month is far too long for a baby hog not to eat and I start offereing my hogs a meal 3 days after they hatch...

In my opinion, waiting a week to allow a hatchling to settle in is unneasesary... If they are esyablished feeders, they will eat not matter what...

Your snake was most likely never an established feeder and I would guess it never even had its first meal yet...

Green tree frog is the best scent to use if you need to scent feed... All those other methods are hit or miss but the green tree frog scent works every time...
Roseanna and Diction like this.

This is the one that never escaped. I've literally just found the one that went missing in my bathroom. I'm over the moon. Its been 4 or 5 days since it knicked off.
